In terms of composition, sulfur-free paper is a special kind of paper that does not contain sulfides or any sulfur-containing compounds. It is usually made from wood pulp or other cellulose materials. Tracing paper, on the other hand, is a semi-transparent paper, and its specific composition is relatively complex, which endows it with some unique properties.

High-quality kraft paper typically displays a natural, soft beige or light brown color with even distribution and no noticeable color differences or spots.  Excessively pale paper may indicate over-bleaching, which weakens durability, while uneven coloring or dark/yellow spots suggest production flaws.

Sulfur-free protective paper has emerged as a game-changer in electronics manufacturing, particularly for printed circuit boards (PCBs) and LED components. Traditional protective materials often contain sulfur compounds, which react with copper and silver traces on PCBs, leading to corrosion and electrical failures. Sulfur-free paper eliminates this risk by using alternative chemical formulations, ensuring long-term reliability for sensitive electronics412.

Kraft paper is a durable, tan-colored paper made from wood fibers of coniferous trees. The process involves breaking wood into pulp, beating it to strengthen fiber bonds, adding sizing and dyes, and forming sheets on a papermaking machine. Named for its tan color and cowhide-like toughness, it's widely used in packaging,envelope paper, adhesive sealing paper, asphalt paper, cable protection paper, insulating paper, and more.

Kraft paper adopts sulphate method of pulping (Kraft Process), with coniferous wood pulp as the main raw material, the fibre length up to 2-3 mm, lignin retention is more, so the texture is tough and tear-resistant. Unbleached kraft paper has a natural brownish-yellow colour, i.e. ‘brown kraft paper’, while bleached kraft paper is ‘white kraft paper’, and both types of kraft paper have high strength.
